Ethical Capital · Impact

For those building what capital should serve.

More than capital. The network is designed to offer knowledge, global relationships and strategic partnership around credible builders.

Who we are looking for

We are interested in the quality of the person and the seriousness of the problem before we are interested in the stage of the organisation.

  • Exceptional founders with high potential, including the very early
  • Nonprofits and foundations with outcomes they can evidence
  • Organisations advancing human development, education and environmental impact
  • Ventures where technology genuinely improves the outcome, rather than decorating it
  • Institution-builders working on a long horizon

On stage

All stages are considered, and acceptance is not a function of maturity. A very early founder may qualify on integrity, potential, the significance of the problem and the quality of execution. An established institution may qualify on proven outcomes and governance. Neither is a shortcut.

What we weigh

Integrity first. Impact second. Execution third.

  1. Integrity

Honesty, transparency and trustworthy personal conduct — assessed before anything else, and not traded off against traction.

  2. Governance

Accountable reporting, responsible use of funds and decisions someone would be comfortable explaining.

  3. Problem clarity

A clearly defined human or environmental problem that is genuinely worth solving.

  4. Impact

Outcomes that can be described honestly and, where possible, measured.

  5. The founder

Humility, resilience, determination, a learning orientation, and the willingness to try again.

  6. A sustainable model

A credible path to sustaining the work, where that is relevant to the form it takes.

  7. Collaboration

A willingness to learn, share, mentor and build alongside others in the network.

Three problems this is designed to reduce

  1. More than money

Mentorship, strategic advice, governance support, sector expertise, market access — and experienced people willing to stand near the work.

  2. Qualified access

Curated introductions to aligned capital, without exposing capital holders to unsolicited approaches or asking builders to cold-pitch strangers.

  3. The right capital for the right problem

Not every opportunity needs the same instrument. Philanthropy, zakāt-eligible giving, waqf, catalytic and patient capital, debt, equity and ethical commercial capital each fit different problems.

What membership is designed to offer

Knowledge · Network · Strategic partnerships

  1. Knowledge

Access to experienced founders, operators and mentors — and to the failures and governance lessons that are rarely discussed in public.

  2. Global network

Relationships across capital holders, founders, family offices, experts and institutions. Curated introductions where alignment exists, never a public directory.

  3. Strategic partnerships

Technology, distribution, research, institutional collaboration, customers, market entry and governance support.
